I'm here to talk about how DevOps plays a crucial role in modern application development. And I would also like to emphasize the fact that customers are the new market makers. They are shaping the industry and changing the new business in how we compete and win.
Success depends on how well and how fast you respond. Nearly everything about software development is also changing due to the need to innovate quickly while reducing risk and delivering a perfect customer experience. And when I think about perfect customer experience, pizza comes into my mind. And it's not just because I'm hungry, but consider pizza on how they transformed over the years from the basic options to giving a rich customer experience by pizza delivery in 15 minutes or less without compromising the quality and customer experience and the catalyst in this whole process of speedy pizza delivery is that central robust infrastructure that every store is leveraging, instead of reinventing the wheel.
DevOps, in a very similar way, plays an important role in scaling that rapid delivery and in fact, continuously delivering customer value to the customers through this infrastructure of DevOps.
